This week in class we are working on the Crown Chakra. ⚪️

The Crown Chakra connects us to all, all that there was, all that there is and all that will be.  It is pure light and it connects us to every living creature, our planet and the universe.  It is unconditional, it is infinite, it is love and all possibilities exist here.  

When the Crown is open and in balance you may feel connected to an energy vastly greater than yourself.  You may feel connected to those around you and understand in your heart that you are one thread in an infinite tapestry of life.  You may see beyond the earthy constraints and feel into the infinite power and possibility of the universe that you are a part of.

When out of balance on one end of the spectrum you may feel disconnected from others, be controlling and not trusting in the process of the universe unfolding.  You may be always in your head and not your heart, be only concerned about your earthly needs and see everything as finite with little meaning other than to exist well with your time here on earth.  On the other end of the spectrum if only in your crown you may flit from place to place, story to story without being able to ground yourself and have stability to achieve your purpose whilst here on this planet. 

Meditation, chanting and nature are three ways to connect in.  We are a part of nature and when you sit with nature, no distractions, you connect into everything.  Meditation allows you to slow the mind and connect into your heart where your soul resides and chanting is the language of the soul and also connects you into your beautiful heart.

It is so important to be grounded here on earth when connected into your Crown.  Think of yourself as a tree, roots firmly planted, your truck is you heart and the bridge to your upper triangle and the crown the tips of your branches reaching out to infinity.  It’s all within you. 

I wrote this last year and reading over it, it was a great reminder to me to trust in the process of the universe.  I can only see a minute part of the universal grand plan and although it sometimes looks glum, I’m reminded the universe knows so much more than what I can see in my tiny corner and I need to trust in its wisdom.  

This is the essence of connecting into the Crown Chakra, connecting into something bigger than ourselves that’s is also a part of us and trusting in its direction.
