New Series, The Five Tatvas!
Sat Nam,
This week we will start work on a new series,, the Five Tatvas:
🌏Earth – Root Chakra
💦Water – Sacral Chakra
🔥Fire – Naval Chakra
💨Air – Heart Chakra
✨Ether – Throat Chakra
Your being consists of all Five Tatvas and they are strongly related to the chakras so this week we will focus on the Earth Tatva, which is connected to the Root Chakra.
The Earth Tatva is also connected to the physical body and your intuition. It is grounding, nurturing and all about holding yourself steady on this planet. When balanced you trust in yourself and the decisions you make, have a sense of security and feel steady that you can navigate yourself well though the uncertainty of life. .
Alicia Keys has a great quote:
“Nothing but uncertainty is certain. Circumstances come together only to fall apart moments or months later. And then, in a flash we must rise up and regain our footing. In the rear view mirror, I now see it so clearly what escaped me then: it’s not that the ground beneath me was suddenly shifting; it’s that it’s never still. That’s part of the work of my journey-getting comfortable with life’s groundlessness.”
In order to feel steady and get comfortable with life’s groundlessness, you have to trust in your intuition to guide you and also have a balanced energetic platform to stand on that roots itself into the earth and holds you steady through the ups and downs.
A balanced Earth Tatva creates just that so when the ground is moving beneath you, your energetic foundation holds steady.
Kundalini Yoga is one of the best tools to balance your nervous system and hold you steady. . The postures, breath and meditations work quickly to connect your vibration to the flow of the universe.
When i feel unsteady like to visualise myself as a tree with my energetic roots digging down deep into the richness of the earth as it holds me and takes care of me whist on this planet.
