The Cycles of Life

Sat Nam,

What a week we just had with that full moon eclipse in Taurus.  I watched it with my brother from Waverley Cemetery on the cliff listening the people dancing and singing to Total Eclipse of the Heart and it was magic!

Eclipses are a reminder of the cycle of life of going from light to dark and back from dark to light.  Nothing stays the same dark or light not even the moon as it moves through its cycles.

Last week Bridget and I hosted our Radiant Body Retreat in Saratoga on the Central Coast.  It was such a beautiful event and we enjoyed not only yoga and amazing food cooked with love by our beautiful chef Lorrae, but plenty of downtime to connect and just be.

We also had a beautiful Lady Lauren from the Life Pod come and talk to us about Sacred Mapping and how the cycles of hours, months, years and periods of our life are all cyclical.

This is what the sun, moon, flowers, animals and the whole of nature teach us.  We are a part of nature and its cycles not separate and as we connect with nature we learn about ourselves, our cycles and our growth.

In Quigong we learn that the only way to energise your life force is through nature and breath.  That makes so much sense to me as I do my yoga in the park or at the beach and always feel more vitalised than indoors because I connect to nature and the cycle of giving and receiving as I breath out carbon dioxide for the plants and breath in the oxygen they breath out for me.  Another beautiful reminder that we are always in the cycle of giving and receiving.

This week I invite you to spend some time with nature and connect in to the cycles and become aware of how your cycles are in sync with those around you.
