Happy World Meditation Day, Super Full Moon Eclipse in Sagittarius, Beginners Workshop and Ten Bodies Series!

Happy World Meditation Day for Friday!

Bridget and I spent the day at the Mind Body Spirit Festival presenting a seminar on An Introduction to Kundalini Yoga.

We taught one of my favourite Kriyas, the Kirtan Kriya which is a foundational Kundalini Yoga meditation.  This meditation has been studied by a number of Universities and is endorsed by the Alzheimer’s foundation to increase cognitive ability particularly memory.    

It was so wonderful to see so many people embrace this beautiful practice and I’m excited to be sharing more of this powerful yoga over the coming weeks.

On Wednesday we have a Super Full Moon Eclipse in Sagittarius!  This is the first for the eclipse season and it’s going to be powerful!

Sagittarius is a fire sign and is a sign that can’t be tied down for too long.  They need to roam and be free.  

This moon will be all about setting yourself free to experience your life as you were brought here to do.  It’s about taking off the constraints you have put upon yourself and having the courage to step out into the unknown where your gold lies.  

I recommend reading “The Alchemist” by Paulo Coelho at this time as this is a moon that is all about stepping out on your adventure to find your personal legend.

Next week Bridget and I will teach  our Introduction to Kundalini Yoga Beginners Workshop at My Asana at Vaucluse.  

This workshop is for beginners but also for students who want to know more about why we do what we do in this yoga.  We will talk about mantra, pranayama, asanas and meditations.
