The Power of Awareness Workshop

We had an amazing fundraiser for our bushfire appeal and raised $910!  Thanks so much for all who came and donated, I love our community and what we achieve together!

This week I want to talk about awareness.  The word awareness or consciousness is a word we use a lot.  But why is it important?  Why do we need to be aware?

Ignorance is bliss right?  Well it is, until it’s not…

I’ve been thinking a lot about this particularly with what’s been happening in our beautiful country with the bushfires.  As humans we tend to say she’ll be right, why should I worry about it, it doesn’t affect me and then it does.

This is where Awareness comes in.  When you become aware of yourself it opens up the awareness to everything around you and you begin to understand that how your energy flows and how you feel is significant and has an affect on everything around you.  As I heard someone quote the other day. “the climate within you reflects the climate outside of you”.

We are all energy and we are the climate and environment as much as the air, sun, animals and trees, we are not separate from it, so how our energy flows within us affects the flow of the energy around us.  

There is so much fear in the world at the moment and fear causes rigidity, resistance  and dense energy that creates a dam in the flow of life.  Our climate at the moment is reflecting the collective energy of the human race.

How can you help heal this planet?  By healing yourself.  By becoming aware.  Awareness is the first step to connection and when you connect in you become conscious of your flow, what needs to be healed and this in turn affects your choices and behaviour.   The more you work on healing through trauma and fear in your body, creating a flow, the more you heal this planet.  As the saying goes “be the change you want to see in the world”.

I will be holding a workshop “The Power of Awareness” on Saturday 1 February at 1.00pm.

This workshop will focus on getting to know you, where your resistance lies and how to move through emotions such as fear, anger and grief that may be causing dis-ease within you.

There will be:
