Framed Photo - Keep Up

“Keep up and you’ll be kept up.”

Sat Nam,

This week has probably been one of the most stressful in my life! Without going into too much detail, I had a very stressful family health scare that thank God is now improving.

At first my body was on high alert for days adrenalin pumping through it and as things got better, this subsided leaving my body feeling like it had been through 9 rounds with Mohamed Ali! I could also feel my nervous system completely out of wack from the plethora of emotions and there was this electric buzz continuously moving through me.

It’s times like these I tend to drop the ball on my practice, but I also know it’s times like these that I need my practice the most. As I didn’t have time to go to class I did my own practice at home and those short half hour sessions of physical yoga and an 11 minute meditation really helped tide me over. Once the dust settled I knew my body needed more so I went back to class and was amazed at how quickly my nervous system began to adjust itself after one session and that electric buzz began to subside.

Kundalini Yoga I feel, truely is the most amazing Yoga for healing, balancing and rejuvenating the body, mind and energy. It works so deeply at a cellular level and during and after my session I immediately felt so much better.

Life is unpredictable and things can change moment to moment and then stay the same for a while. It’s the support of my practice that keeps me on an even keel through all the bumps and winds in my road.  As Yogi Bhajan says “Keep up and you’ll be kept up”.

What do you do you do to keep up?

I’m happy to be back teaching this week and my classes at Soul Flow Yoga are:

Wednesday 12.15pm
Thursday 9.30am

See you on the mat. ❤️

Big love,
Adette
