Summer Solstice is the longest day of the year, the one day of the year…
Happy Mothers Day, The Neutral Mind and new class time!
Sat Nam,
Happy Mothers Day to all the mums out there and that includes adopted mums, fur mums, foster mums, mums that are no longer with us, dad mums and anyone who plays the role of mum to another living being. You all rock!
This is a photo of my mum and I. She’s an awesome mum who has always given me her very best. Now she’s 96 (next week!) I’ve become her mum for the most part but she still is always my mum and is still there for me when I need her love and support. I love her lots! ❤️
This week we are working on my favourite mind, The Neutral Mind.
The Neutral Mind is the fourth body and connected to the fourth chakra, The Heart. It’s the third of your minds and whilst The Negative Mind and The Positive Mind are more earth bound minds coming from the ego, The Neutral Mind comes from The Heart and is your conscious mind.
Unlike The Negative Mind and The Positive Mind, The Neutral Mind isn’t loud, it doesn’t push an option, it’s weighs up the information given from both The Negative and Positive Minds and quietly presents you with a neutral perspective which is your truth.
The Neutral Mind is your intuition. Have you ever had an idea that everyone is telling you is crazy but you feel inside it’s the right thing and it works out brilliantly? Or has something or someone looked rosy from the outside to everyone else, but you know that that thing or person isn’t quite right and then it comes to pass that your intuition is correct? That’s The Neutral Mind. It has no agenda other than to present you with your truth and it’s up to you what you do with it.
Meditation is the best tool to get you into The Neutral Mind. I recommend the Kirtan Kriya as this is a moving meditation that always helps me get into a trance like, quiet state where my neutral mind works best.
The Neutral Mind is your truth and when you are tuned into it, it will never lead you astray.
