Happy Spring Equinox for this Friday! 🌺💐🌷🌻
It was such a long and freezing winter we had this year and whilst it was good to rug up and reflect on what’s been as we plant the seeds of what’s to come, I’m soooo excited to celebrate Spring, the season of blossoming!!
And to celebrate our Spring Equinox Workshop at Botannix is this Friday, 23 September at 7.00pm.
I’m so excited to be celebrating Spring Equinox in this beautiful studio with its Balinese garden outlook.
Spring Equinox is a time to blossom! It’s a time of stepping out growth and expansion and Bridget and I will be sharing a beautiful workshop to reflect just that!
There will be:
🧘Kundalini Yoga
🧘Breath Work
🧘Meditation and
🧘a long sound bath including the mesmerising sound of the gong.

This week we work on the second Tatva, Water (Apas).
The Water Tatva is connected to the Sacral Chakra and is associated with lust and creativity and the sense of taste.
When in balance this Tatva will bring forth sexuality and creativity (the same energy) like flowing water. It will open you up to new ideas, possibilities and experiences.
When out of balance you can become addicted to the needs of your desires or on the flip side the flow of your creativity and sexuality can become blocked and you become very contained in your experiences.
Kundalini Yoga opens the flow of your energy and clears through blocked energy. Frogs, Kundalini Lotus and Cat Cow are three great postures for this Tatva as they work strongly on the Sacral Chakra and the kidneys which filter the water element in your body.
As I always say, those who flow grow.
