The Attitude of Gratitude and Spring Equinox Workshop at Botannix.

“The attitude of gratitude is the highest form of yoga.”

I was saying in class this week that the last few weeks have evolved into a series about virtues.

I was thinking about virtues and realised they are virtues because they come from the heart, open you up and allow you to move forward whether that be:

💚forgiving to let go of the past, 

💚patience and trust to allow things to unfold as they should, 

💚courage to take that step forward and 

💚gratitude to honour the moment you are in.

Gratitude is about being thankful for all the blessings that have been bestowed upon you.  It brings you into this moment, into a state of abundance, joy and love and it opens you up to future possibilities. 

Sometimes it’s hard to be grateful when your stuck in the mindset of lack.  I always say to myself; if you have nothing else to be grateful for be grateful for your breath and I am thankful for every breath I get because each breath is another moment of living which is a blessing. 

Kundalini Yoga allows you to experience the virtues on the mat.  This yoga teaches you about yourself and what you’re capacity and capability is.  It teaches you to develop a relationship with yourself and all virtues start with you. 

As you open within each posture, breath, mantra and meditation you move through the restrictions of the ego and naturally experience the virtues as they unfold within you.  It’s magical!

Special Spring Equinox Workshop with Adette and Bridget at Botannix – Save the Date! 

I’m so excited to be celebrating Spring Equinox in this beautiful studio with its Balinese garden outlook.

Spring Equinox is a time to blossom!  It’s a time of stepping out growth and expansion and Bridget and I will be sharing a beautiful workshop to reflect just that!

🧘Breath Work

🧘Meditation and

🧘a long sound bath including the mesmerising sound of the gong.
