The Art of Allowing and my Stress and Vitality Kundalini Yoga and Sound Bath at Botannix
Sat Nam,
Last week I talked about patience. This week I want to go one step further into patience and talk about the art of allowing.
When you are patient you allow and when you allow you have no resistance.
To have resistance tenses your body and when your body tenses this causes rigidity and restriction to your energy flow. Your energy needs to flow freely for you to be in the flow of your life and feel at peace and steady.
Allowing for things to unfold as they need to creates space for the universe to work its magic. When your ego runs the show there is a need for control and you will feel the resistance to the natural flow of things in your body.
Nature knows how to allow itself to unfold as it is meant to and we are a part of nature so when we go against the natural flow of things we go against the laws of nature that govern us all.
Kundalini Yoga teaches you to go with the flow. It has a lot of postures and locks that force stress, resistance and tension into your body so when you let them go your body automatically expands into a relaxed state. It teaches you what that relaxed state feels like because in this state you are in the flow of allowing.
Stay present in your body. Notice how your body responds when you feel impatient or stressed. If you become ridged and feel resistance breath into your body long slow and deep until you feel your body relax and expand. From this state of allowing sit in stillness until you’re ready to make your next move.
Most of our unnecessary stuff ups in life come from making decisions when we are impatient or stressed. Allowing things to unfold as they are meant to guarantees we connect into our natural flow and head in the direction that is meant for us.
