Happy Equinox and Autumn Kundalini Yoga Workshop at Bondi Vixen!

Happy Autumn Equinox!  💚🧘. 

Equinox is when we have an equal night to day and for us here in the Southern Hemisphere it’s the official start to Autumn.  

Yogis say if you celebrate nothing else, celebrate equinox and solstice as these four change of cycles in nature are high energetic points in the year. 

Autumn is a time of shedding and for us as humans this is a time to shed anything we have held onto that weighs us down and isn’t serving us moving forward.  We also had a harvest full moon in Virgo on Friday night, so this energy of letting go is very powerful right now. 

Write a list of what you want to release and then burn that list.  If you can’t burn it throw it away, either way you are symbolically showing the universe what you want to release.  Practicing Kundalini Yoga also clears through heavy energy blocking your flow.

As most of you know I’m super passionate about Kundalini Yoga and how transformative it is.

I remember my first class and it was a quantum moment that changed my life.  I had suffered for years from a debilitating panic attack and anxiety disorder and was constantly on high alert.  The moment I finished my first Kundalini class I was blown away as I’d never felt that peace and calm in my body so instantaneously and I was hooked!  

I went from not being able to even get on a bus for fear of panicking to becoming a teacher and sharing this amazing technology in classes, workshops, retreats and seminars.  

This yoga literally saved my life and I’m dedicated to sharing it’s amazing technology far and wide.  

Bridget and I will be teaching a Kundalini Yoga Workshop at Bondi Vixen’s beautiful studio at Bondi Beach.

We will teach about:

🧘the breath and how it can transform your energy

🧘Asana’s and how the postures work through your physical body

🧘a meditation that has been studied by three universities and is endorsed by the Alzheimer’s Foundation to increase cognitive awareness, reduce stress and calm the mind.

🧘mantra the language of the soul and

🧘you will experience the healing vibrations of a beautiful relaxing gong bath. 

It has been predicted that the transition from the Piscean age to the Aquarian Age would be a  difficult one.  Kundalini Yoga has held me up through these difficult times and I don’t know how I would have coped without the tools of my practice.  It has never been more important to practice this yoga in order to create a steady foundation though these rocky times.
