Let’s get Physical!

Summer has arrived!  Summer is a time for being active and getting amongst life so it’s the perfect time to be working on our 5th body The Physical Body.

Think of the Physical Body as the vehicle for your soul in this life.  Each of us have been given a different model to compliment the life we are here to lead.  

The Physical Body is constantly changing even if we’re not aware of it. Blood flows, cells die, hair grows we grow taller, shrink, put on weight, lose weight, it’s never stagnant.  

Because it’s ever changing The Physical Body is your best teacher as this body reflects what’s going on within you.  Every sensation is a signal to indicate what’s going on for you, how your energy is flowing and it alerts you to what you need to pay attention to.

It also teaches you about your capabilities, your limitations and your capacity.  It teaches you about love as you care for it, patience when it can’t do something, strength and endurance to get you though the tough times and so much more.

Everything you put your body though, everything you digest including food, alcohol, drugs, stress, emotions, the energy around you affects how your physical body functions.

A healthy diet, physical exercise, reduced stress, being aware of the energy you take in including what you watch on tv, the company you keep all help keep the physical body at its optimum.

Kundalini Yoga is a great tool to teach you about the capability and capacity of your physical body because it challenges you to dig deep, know your power,strength and endurance and move through the glass ceiling the ego caps you with.  Your physical body is way stronger than your mind will give it credit for.

I am so excited for our beautiful radiant body retreat from 12-14 March on a magnificent property in Matcham on the Central Coast.  

This is not just a yoga retreat, this is an opportunity to nurture and treat yourself.  This property boasts 5 acres of beautiful grounds to just be.  

We will have a cooking class with Lorrae our amazing chef for the weekend who’s passion for nourishing delicious food is infectious!  Of course there will be amazing Kundalini Yoga, meditation and yummy long gong that is sure to rejuvenate and radiate your being.
