Remember to recharge yourself!

❤️Ah Sunday’s, as Nirvana famously sang they could be everyday for all I care!

Sunday’s to me have always been a day of rest and rejuvenation from the past week gone by ready for the new week ahead.  Even God needed his day of rest on the seventh day  after creating the world! ? For me, it’s a time I allow myself to have a lay in,  a Netflix marathon, swims and sunning myself at the beach, lie on the grass in the park sky watching, hang out with my family, go for lazy long lunches with my friends and throw in some yoga for good measure if I’m up for it.

✅It is so important to recharge with rest and down time and it’s not just for Sundays.  You recharge your phone every day and like your phone you need it pretty much every day too! 

?Recharging is a time to stop the hectic work, running around to get things done and just be doing whatever brings relaxation and peace.  If you work nine to five get out of the office at lunchtime, find a park to sit in to have lunch and take the time to feel the grass beneath you and the sky above you. If you’re a stay at home worker/mum/dad find time in between the bedlam of life to get outside and appreciate the world around you and just be.  Without a recharge the phone goes flat and so do you!

?‍♀️In yoga we have the space between the pose and Savasana to recharge and integrate.  Take that space in life, it’s where your juice to move forward lies.
