4th Sutra in our series; Understand through compassion or you’ll misunderstand the times.

Sat Nam,

Happy Equinox!  This Thursday marks the official start of Autumn.  Autumn is a time for shedding and like the deciduous trees shedding their leaves we start to energetically shed what’s no longer serving us.  It’s a time for reflection and slowing down as we prepare for the colder months of winter.  We also have a powerful super moon so this really is a time for clearing out the energetic cupboards so to speak and making room for the new!   Set yourself an intention and watch to see how it unfolds.

We will also be embarking on the 4th Sutra in our series of The five Sutras of the Aquarian Age, ‘Understand through compassion or you will misunderstand the times’. This I feel is the foundation of all the Sutras, especially in these current times.  Compassion opens our heart to ourselves and other people, it dissolves barriers and unites us through love.

Last week we witnessed the atrocity that happened in New Zealand where so many innocent people lost their lives, were injured and lost loved ones.  Through the carnage what really stood out for me was the compassion displayed by people closely affected and by those from all around the world.  I read of people opening the doors to their houses whist the gunshots were being fired offering people shelter, people dropping flowers at the mosque in Christchurch and at mosques in Sydney, QLD and all around the world to offer their condolences, the New Zealand Prime Minister, Jacinta Arden clearly distressed and sharing her messages of compassion and uniting together, people crying for people they have never met but feeling their pain, artists creating drawings of compassion and love, people of all races and walks of life coming together to support each other.

This is compassion and this is what unites us.  What these terrorists want is to create a divide, an us against them mentality, well they didn’t succeed.   Although I did read a minority’s view justifying this shooting what I saw on a large scale was the compassion of people uniting together in their grief.

I believe this is exactly why Yogi Bhajan gave us this Sutra to understand that this time of the Aquarian Age is for uniting together as one race, one planet and to do this we must have compassion for all.  Compassion isn’t a pick and choose emotion for those that we believe deserve it, or who share our views, it’s first develops for ourselves and then for everyone around us.  As Yogi Bhajan says “If you can’t see God in all, you can’t see God at all”.

May those that lost their lives in this tragedy Rest In Peace and I’m sending so much love and support to those injured, who’ve lost loved ones and have been affected by this senseless tragedy.  Akaal. ❤️
