New Series – A Journey through the Five Sutras of the Aquarian Age

Sat Nam,

Wow, what a weekend with that powerful blood moon lunar eclipse energy! We harnessed the magic in a fantastic workshop on Friday night when we lifted the roof of the studio with our Kundalini fire! It was epic! And we’ll be doing more of the same next month on Sunday, 26 August when the full moon falls on Yogi Bhajan’s Birthday, more about that in the coming weeks.

This week I will start a Series I’ll be teaching in all my classes for the next five weeks: A Journey through the Five Sutras of the Aquarian Age.

“In this time Piscean values are giving way to Aquarian values. The difference between the two is very simple. Piscean values work from the ego, creating boundaries. Aquarian values have no boundaries; they are Infinite. Aquarian consciousness takes you inside your soul, so that you can relate to the soul in all.”

-Yogi Bhajan from Aquarian Times, Spring 2003.

Yogi Bhajan predicted that the transition into the Aquarian Age would be an unsettling one with troubled times. Right now on the planet we are experiencing crazy times, full of fear, ignorance and chaos. There is a great imbalance in the world of those who want to unite, those who want to divide and those who are not sure which way they lean.

He introduced Kundalini Yoga to the Western World to provide a means of support as we navigate through this new age.

He also gave us five Sutras or ‘words to live by’ for the Aquarian age to provide guidance as we move from a finite way of being to an infinite way of being.

These Sutras are:

1. Recognize that the other person is you.
2. There is a way through every block.
3. When the time is on you, start, and the pressure will be off.
4. Understand through compassion or you will misunderstand the times.
5. Vibrate the Cosmos. The Cosmos shall clear the path.

This week we will start with the first Sutra ‘Recognise that the other person is you’. This is such an important Sutra for these times, that if practiced from the heart, unites us at the infinite essence of our being where we are all the same. It brings us together, through the purity of our souls, with compassion, understanding and always with love.

We also have some exciting events coming up at Soul Flow Yoga including our first movie night where we will be screening May I Be Frank on Friday 24 August at 6.30pm.  This will be by donation and nibbles and tea will be provided.

My classes this week at Soulflow Yoga:

7.15pm Tuesday
12.15pm Wednesday

I am also covering Robbie’s 6.30pm classes at her house in Bellevue Hill for the next two weeks.  If you would like more info on these classes just reply to this email.

See you on the mat. ❤️

Love and light,
Adette
