Happy New Year!

What a year 2017 has been, and for me jam packed with a cocktail of so much. I experienced new beginnings in friendships, relationships and teaching at Soul Flow, I had a much celebrated milestone birthday, attended 2 weddings, supported and grieved with my closest friends as they lost loved ones, celebrated as some friends became pregnant and others had new beautiful babies to grace our world, laughed, cried, loved and lived. Pretty much what a years all about.

I hear allot of people including myself say “once this bit is over I’ll be ok”, or “this year will be better than the last because…”.  I came to a realisation that all years, months, weeks, days, minutes, seconds are a mix of the good and not so good stuff in our lives. This doesn’t stop because of a new year or because we have finished an arduous task or for whatever reason, because that is what living is, a cocktail of our life’s blessings and lessons which make up our stories. As we live here on earth our stories will always be a mix of all the words, sentences, paragraphs and chapters that make up our life’s journey and its up to us to fill the pages as best we can with what makes our story exciting and fulfilling to us!

A new year is the opportunity to write the next chapter in your lives and as it’s so close to solstice and a super full moon in Cancer a great time to harness this energy to make this chapter another incredible chapter in your stories!

So for next year I’m not looking at this as a better year than the last, it’s just the next chapter in the story of Adette and I’m excited to be writing it because the last 50+ chapters with all the good, the bad and the ugly have made up my incredible life so far.

How will your story unfold in the coming year?

I am back teaching at Soul Flow this Thursday at 9.30am where I’ll do a special class harnessing the energy of the super full moon in Cancer that we have at 1.24am on Tuesday and to bring in the next chapter of our lives in the new year!
