Well the great celestial event much of the world is waiting for especially in the US arrives 9.00am Monday US time (3.00am Tuesday morning Sydney time) with the first solar eclipse that can be viewed across mid America since 1979.

I find solar eclipses quite auspicious as it’s like a cleansing of sorts, when for a few moments the day goes dark to be lit again with new light. As this is also a new moon, it’s an incredibly powerful time for new beginnings as we literally travel from dark to light. Even if you can’t see it where you are located, the affects of this eclipse energy will be global.

With the world in such a crazy state, I feel that this is such an important time to love. I read somewhere a suggestion that as the solar eclipse is happening every human being on this planet send out love just at this powerful time of new beginning. What a wonderful thought! So I propose that any time from Monday evening into Tuesday morning stop for a minute in silence and stillness, open your heart and send out infinite love to this planet and everyone on it, the good, the bad and the ugly, because love doesn’t discriminate and the only way to heal this planet is to love all this planet. Let’s make this new beginning a love filled one!

Robbie Chapman from Kundalini Healing will be holding a special solar eclipse class at The Bay Room, 45 Bay Street, Double Bay at 6.30pm on Monday night. She will be teaching a deep meditation to clear the heart, renew our vitality and open our perception to the gifts of life that are available to us.

I will then teach a special post eclipse class at Soul Flow Yoga on Tuesday night at 7.15pm focussing on love and our beautiful hearts.

What better way to harness this awesome eclipse energy than to do yoga!
