Summer Solstice is the longest day of the year, the one day of the year…
“Don’t die with the music still in you.”
Don’t die with the music still in you.
Sat Nam,
The last few weeks have been tough for me, as something I really wanted didn’t happen. It is an area in my life I’ve had disappointment before but this time particularly hurt. I spent days questioning what I did wrong, how I could have made it better, why was this always happening to me, I deserve more because I’ve worked hard on myself etc etc etc.
Last night I woke at 3am, what I like to call the witching hour and had a dark night of the soul experience. As day broke I felt helpless, angry and exhausted and with little fight left in me, thinking what’s the point just give it up, that’s when the magic happened. As the Universe does, I was presented with exactly what I needed at the exact moment just when I was ready to listen. I was scrolling through Facebook and came across Wayne Dyers ‘The Shift’ being shown by Hay House and it was also free for the next few days, gotta love the way the universe works!
I watched this movie and oh my goodness, goosebumps, tears and profound aha moments. I realised I am attached to my outcome believing only then will I be truly happy. But here’s the thing, when I’m not ‘chasing’ my desire and just being, as I take a photo, cuddle my cat, teach a class, or experience an amazing life moment, I hear my music, my unique song and I am happy.
Wayne Dyer says don’t die with the music still in you, let the song inside you guide you every day, how beautiful is that!
I also love that I started a 40 day meditation the day I hugged Amma doing the Ganpati Kriya, the meditation to remove obstacles and make the impossible possible. Looks like it’s working!
I highly recommend watching ‘The Shift’. You can find it on Dr Wayne Dyers page on Facebook or through Hayhouse. It’s a blessing!
