Summer Solstice is the longest day of the year, the one day of the year…
Happy Easter Long Weekend, Sharing Kundalini Yoga in the Workplace and Amma!
Sat Nam,
Happy Easter Long Weekend! Easter for me represents the changing cycles of life, dying and being resurrected like the Phoenix rising from the ashes. The Phoenix has always been one of my favourite symbols because it reminds me that I too have the ability to rise from the ashes if I allow myself and let me tell you, I’ve had to rise many a time! ?
This week was such a great week in my Kundalini journey. I went out to Citibank with Balance2Life a company that is rolling out Health and Wellbeing Programs in the Workplace. I taught some key breaths and postures and I ended the workshop with Sat Kriya and it was so exciting to see these yogis embrace a meditation that was completely foreign to them with such enthusiasm!
Work/life balance is so important and this program is excellent teaching employees health tips from eating well, sleeping better and of course the benefits of Kundalini Yoga.
If you would be interested in hearing more about this program for your workplace, please let me know by replying to this email and I’ll connect you to the awesome people at Balance2Life.
What do you do to ensure you’re maintaining a work life balance?
I don’t know if you’ve heard, but Amma is in town! Those of you who don’t know her, she is the Hugging Saint and she travels the world giving amazing hugs! Her hugs are something really special, healing, compassionate and full of love! She will be hugging at Sydney Boys High School on Monday and Tuesday this week. The hug is by donation and get there early as it attracts many!
I will be away for the next couple of weeks and Yogi Maya will cover my class. This week she is teaching a special Easter Monday class, a perfect way to end the long weekend particularly if you’ve also received a hug from Amma!
Classes this week:
Monday 7.00pm – Maya (covering for Adette)
Tuesday 7.00pm – Maya
Friday 7.15am – Bartek
See you on the mat. ❤
Love and light,
Adette
