Summer Solstice is the longest day of the year, the one day of the year…
New Moon, New Season, reaping the rewards.
We had a beautiful new moon in Sagittarius on Tuesday night.
I was reading about this new moon and it is said to be the moon to bring rewards after all the hard work we have put in this year. It’s essentially a time to reap what we’ve sown.
“Embrace this energy, stay open minded, open your heart and watch what flies in. All that you have been working so hard for this year is now coming to fruition under this Moon cycle, so celebrate and enjoy it. You have earned it!” Tanaaz
We’ve also now moved into the Summer season here in the Southern Hemisphere. Summer in itself represents the rewards of growth and work through the seasons. Like the seasons, we’ve worked hard through Autumn to shed what no longer serves us, hibernated through winter to regenerate, awoken in Spring to grow and now here we are in summer where we can flourish! Summer is such an uplifting time when we can enjoy the sun warming our skin, swim in the cool of the ocean and feel alive.
This can also be a hectic time of year with Christmas parties, shopping, planning for family visits and the general running around this season brings.
So, if the silly season gets a bit much make sure you take time out to enjoy the fruits of your labour, the rewards of the New Moon and this season’s gifts. Yoga and meditation are a great way to calm our inside whilst the outside world can appear to be so hectic.
In the midst of all the season chaos and celebration, it’s also a time to celebrate you, you’ve certainly earned it, so enjoy!
